A study published in the Journal of Food Science found that heating honey at 70 degrees Celsius for just 30 minutes significantly reduced its antioxidant activity. The World Health Organisation also recognises that heating honey above 40 degrees Celsius begins to degrade its natural properties.
Is Processed Honey Safe?
